sweeteners. If you ever found that a cat ate something sweet, it is believed that some sweet food has salty taste in it although it is at the very low amount, because their tongues are very sensitive to salt instead.
Other carnivores like dolphins, lions, tigers, and hyenas also can't taste sweetness but they are very sensitive to salty taste.
