Achmad Nawir (1911 – April 1995) was a Dutch East Indian doctor and footballer. Nawir played for a local club HBS Soerabaja (now extinct) and also the Dutch East Indian national football team.
He is the captain for Dutch East Indian national team in FIFA World Cup 1938 France. Despite played for 2 matches for Dutch East India before Indonesia got its independence, he is the major inspiration for Indonesian modern football.
