Since around 1980, Valentine's Day came to be known in Finland as "Ystävänpäivä", the day of remembering friends, where Finnish people celebrate is as "Friend's Day".
They celebrate it by sending love, well-wish cards amongst friends or as well as lovers. It's also a good day for Finnish people to get engaged or married.
Not only for adults, the participation of children is really important in friendship's day.
They spend the day by gathering together and exchanging cards, chocolates, flowers, and gifts.
In Estonia, it has the same meaning, and it is called "Sõbrapäev".
