Two Californian women, 21 and 25 years old, were arrested by the Italian Officials after caught carving their initials using coins at the Colosseum, Roma, Italy.

Colosseum is considered as the largest historical amphitheatre, built in around 70–80 AD, and made of the greatest works of architecture.
Before getting caught by the officials, they had carved another one written J and N on some brick wall in the Colosseum. They carved their names to be photographed as a selfie.
They were charged with "aggravated on a building of historical and artistic interest."
They apologised and showed their regrets afterwards.
